How to Submit a Technology Work Order
Create a Technology Work Order
1. Open the Work Order Website
Open the Technology Work Order system using the link below:
2. Sign In
Sign in using your LPS e-number (example: e12345).
3. Start a New Ticket
Click + New Ticket
OR
Select a device under the Quick Tickets section.
4. Select the Appropriate Category
Click through the categories that best match your issue or request.
To submit a ticket on behalf of someone:
Click Edit Requestor (top left).
Click Edit Location to change the building.
Important:
When you submit on behalf of someone, the ticket becomes their ticket and you are added as a follower. They will receive all ticket communication.
If submitting a request involving a student:
Do not change the requestor for restrictions or web history requests.
Instead, include the student’s name in the description field.
5. Complete the Ticket Form
Fill out all required information, including:
Description
Due date (if applicable)
Any additional fields
You may:
Add users for notifications
Attach screenshots or photos
Describe the issue with as much detail as possible.
6. Verify Information and Submit Ticket
Confirm the location, category, and issue are correct at the top of the screen and click Submit Ticket to create the ticket.
View or Edit Submitted Tickets
Your open tickets appear on the main dashboard.
Click a ticket to view details or make changes.
Use the comment section to add information or attachments.
Click Cancel Ticket if the issue is resolved.
Ticket activity appears at the bottom of the ticket page.
View Assets
Click Assets at the top of the page.
Select an asset from the list to:
View details
Create a ticket for that device
